Robert Allen (Boots) Porter, 76, Rapid City, died Friday, Dec. 11, 2015 at home. He was born Dec. 2, 1939 to Susan (Fahrni) and Joe Porter in Seneca, SD. He loved racing #109, camping, dancing boots, bingo and pool. He also loved watching his grandkids play sports and being around family and many many grandkids and great grandkids. Boots owned a Taxi company for awhile and owned Porters Jack Repair for over 40 yearsHe is survived by Barbara Ochs who was the love of his life; his children, Bob Porter Jr; Bill Porter; Sandy Porter; Denise Ferris; Tonia Bloom; Dallas Porter; Rodney Porter; his step-children, Larry Williams, Nicole Anderson and Angelia Ochs; his brother Mike Porter and his sister Lois Potter. He is preceded in death by Richard ‘Babe’ Porter and Vera Porter.Pallbearers will be Cody Porter, Jamie Bloom, Brian Porter, Faaron Shaw, Jessie Shaw, Jered Bloom, Casey Anderson, Tim Rauch and Anthony Fancher. | |
