Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at the funeral home, with Rev. Nathan Ennis of Black Hills Fellowship officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery |

Jean (Reel) Saunders, 86, died Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at her home. She was born November 12, 1926 in Gillette Wyoming to Virgil and Agnes (Johnson) Reel. One of 8 children, (6 girls and 2 boys) she was raised in the Moorcroft/Rozette Wyoming area. February 14th 1947 she married Keith F Saunders in Sheridan Wyoming. Their first son, Steven, was born in New Castle Wyoming in 1956 when they lived at Mule Creek Junction. Their second son, Randy, was born in Sheridan Wyoming In 1961 when they lived in the rural Gillette area. They moved to Rapid City in 1961 where she and Keith raised their boys and she was a homemaker. Jean enjoyed spending time with her family and taking care of her house and yard. She is survived by her 2 sons, Steven (Karen) Saunders, Bismarck ND; Randy (Peggy) Saunders, Rapid City SD; 4 grandchildren Samantha Saunders Denver Colorado, Benjamin Saunders Bismarck ND, Nathan Saunders Rapid City and Brenna Saunders Rapid City; 2 brothers, Rodney Reel Sheridan Wyoming and Damon Reel Rapid City. She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith in 1986, her 5 sisters and her parents. | |
