Leslie ‘Donnie’ Green, 76, Rapid City, passed away Thursday Jan 9, 2014. He was born to Doug and Julie Green on August 25, 1937 in the Sandhills of SD. He attended school in Wanblee and then Kadoka where he graduated. He entered the US Navy and was honorably discharged after 4 years. He worked at Sioux San Hospital until retiring in 1995. He was a quiet funny guy who loved his family. He liked to travel and be in the know of current events and he was excellent at Trivia. Donnie is survived two sisters, Beverly Higheagle and Violet Chandler, both of Rapid City; nephews, Jess Green and Lyle Dillon; nieces Carolee Petrillo, New Jersey; Jeanne Dillon, Denver and Julia Chandler, Rapid City; ten grandnephews and grandnieces and his cat, Jeopardy | |
