Interment will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m., Sunday Oct. 3, 2010 at Behrens-Wilson Funeral Home. |

Sylvia Krick, 86, of Rapid City, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away Sept. 29, 2010. She was born Feb. 20, 1924 in Yankton, SD to Martin and Julia Lokken. As a child of the Depression, she left school at an early age to help support a large family. In the 1950’s she made her way to Rapid City and met Wayne Krick. They were married on Jan. 26, 1957 and to this union were born two boys, Kevin and Brian. They shared forty-one years together before Wayne died in 1998. A wonderful mother, she devoted her life to her husband and children. No sacrifice was too large or too small. She particularly enjoyed socializing at the Moose Club with Wayne and their friends and the occasional trip to Deadwood, often returning home with a purse bulging with quarters. | |
