Beverly Crawford

Beverly Jene Crawford, 75, Gillette died Monday April 27, 2009 at her home of natural causes. She was born May 16, 1933 in Devils Lake, ND to Leonard and Hattie (Zang) Truax. She grew up in Pine River, MN where she graduated high school. She married Robert C. Crawford in Minnesota. They lived in various places, coming to the Black Hills area in the late 1960’s; moved to Upton, WY in the 1980’s and then to Gillette. She worked hard at everything she did. She loved fishing, reeling in the big one. She enjoyed taking care of people opening her heart to all and was loved by many. Beverly is survived by her sons, Randy and John, Gillette; Robert ‘Pete’, Upton; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and her sister Donna Mae Peterson, St. Cloud, MN. She was preceded in death by her husband, son, Michael R. Crawford; parents Hattie and Leonard Truax.
