August 15, 1923 - March 14, 2008 Service Date: March 19, 2008 Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday March 19, 2008 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Leo Shrub officiating. Interment will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery with military honors provided by the VFW Post #1273 Honor Guard. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m., Tuesday March 18th at Behrens-Wilson Funeral Home with Masonic rites at 7 p.m. |

Richard M. Hedden, 84, Rapid City, died Friday, March 14, 2008 at his home. He served in the US Army from Nov. 16, 1943 until being honorable discharged Feb. 25, 1946.He is survived by 2 sons, Richard F. Hedden, Rapid City, Kenneth P. Hedden, Milford, Connecticut; a daughter, Laural Emmerson, Rapid City; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and a brother, Charles Raymond Hedden, TX.He was preceded in death by his wife Bernice on March 2, 2003, a son and a sister. | |
