Alice Morris, 90, Rapid City, died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006 at the Clarkson-Mt. View Health Care Facility. She will be missed by all. Alice Beatha Morgan was born March 7, 1916 to Henry and Clara (Kost) Morgan in Fairpoint, SD. She was raised 6 ½ miles southwest of Fairpoint. On June 28, 1944 she married Hubert Alvin Morris and they had two sons, Gary and Clifford. Alice was an avid gardener; quilter and loved to bake rolls and pies. She also enjoyed traveling; especially to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She was a life member of the VFW Auxiliary and a member of the First Assembly of God Church. Alice is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Clifford and Connie Morris, Green River, WY; daughter-in-law Lana Morris, Austin, TX; seven grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 2 brothers; Fred Morgan; Elmer Morgan; and sister-in-law, Vera Morgan all of Rapid City. She was preceded in death by her husband Hubert Alvin; son Gary; 2 sisters and 5 brothers. | |
