Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday Oct. 26, 2006 at Behrens-Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Diehl officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m., Wednesday Oct. 25, 2006 at the funeral home.

Violet L. Kambak, 80, lifelong resident of Rapid City, died Saturday Oct. 21, 2006 at Beverly Healthcare Black Hills.

Violet was born March 2, 1926 to Melvin L. and Edith (Shubeck) Kambak in Rapid City where she grew up and graduated from Rapid City High school in 1945. She enjoyed touring the hills.

Violet is survived by 2 sisters, Florence Koopman, Dallas, GA and Arlene Conrad, Noble, OK. She is preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister, Mary E. Gabert in 1995.
