July 16, 1925 - June 8, 2009 Service Date: June 13, 2009 Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m., Saturday June 13, 2009 at St. Therese Catholic Church with Father Bill Zandri celebrating. Interment will follow at Pine Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m., Friday June 12, 2009 at Behrens-Wilson Funeral Home with wake services at 7 p.m. |

Alexander Feist, 83, Rapid City died Monday June 8, 2009 at Rapid City Regional Hospital. He was born in Strasburg, ND to Kasper and Mary Anne (Braunagel) Feist on July 16, 1925. He grew up in Strasburg and farmed in the area until moving to Rapid City in 1954. He began working at the cement plant in 1955 retiring in 1988. Alex married Magdalena Walker in Selfridge, ND on April 5, 1945. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening.Alex is survived by his daughter, Elsie Leasher, Midland, TX; son, Alex W. Feist, Rapid City; 3 grandchildren, Todd Leasher, Scottsdale, AZ; Kim Albert, Midland, TX; Kris Miller, Plattsburgh, NY; 4 great grandchildren and his special friend Hazel Geffre, Tucson, AZ and Rapid City. He was preceded in death by his wife Magdalena in 1992; 1 daughter, Gloria Miller; 4 sisters and 5 brothers. | |
