January 19, 1920 - May 31, 2009 Service Date: June 5, 2009 Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 5, 2009 at Calvary Baptist Church. Interment with full military honors provided by VFW Post #1273 will follow at Pine Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4-7 P.M. Thursday, June 5, 2009 at Behrens-Wilson Funeral Home. |

Cecil H. Pigsley, 89, Rapid City, died Sunday, May 31, 2009 at Ft. Meade Medical Center.Cecil served in the US Army from January 7, 1943 until his honorable discharge on November 30, 1945.He is survived by his wife, Muriel, Phoenix, AZ; 3 sons, Steven, Black Hawk, Thomas, Sandy, UT , Gary, Kernersville, NC and a daughter, Paula Jean Hoglo, Whitewood; 14 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; a brother, Elra Piglsey, Rapid City.He was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Mary, a grandson, a sister and 2 brothers. | |
