David R. Tracy

Service Date: April 12, 2007

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday April 11, 2007 at Behrens-Wilson Funeral Home. Services will be held Thursday April 12, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. at Behrens-Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Baum officiating. Burial will follow at the Black Hills National Cemetery with military honors provided by the VFW Post #1273 Honor Guard.

David R. Tracy, 58, died Saturday April 7, 2007 at his home in Box Elder, SD. David was born in Deadwood, SD, was the son of Charles & Harriet Tracy and lived in the Rapid City/Box Elder area his whole life. David served his country in the US Army & was stationed in Thailand & Korea during the Viet Nam era. He was a lifetime member of the VFW. David loved his family, his many lifelong friends, his motorcycle, his cars and his dogs. David is survived by his brother Mike Tracy (Bobbi), Rapid City, sisters Jody (Tom) Lebeda, Murdo, SD, Diana (Scottie) Gibson, St. Lawrence, SD and Barbara (Ed) Munoz, Brooklyn Park, MN and many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and father. David also leaves behind the most special person in his life, Kathy Knight, and children Kristie and Kalin Knight. These three people gave David the most happiness he had ever known.
