Robert “Dale” McLoud, 76, Rapid City died Sunday March 4, 2007 at his residence. He was born July 5, 1930 to Robert and Martha (Speck) McLoud in Wessington Springs, SD, where he was raised until moving to Rapid City in the early 1950’s. Dale entered the US Army Feb. 1, 1952 during the Korean Conflict and was honorably discharged Jan. 7, 1954. He worked as a janitor at the SDSM & T for many years. He enjoyed fishing and watching soap operas. Dale is survived by his wife Jessie McLoud, Rapid City; 3 daughters, Tammy (Darold) Buskohl, Black Hawk; Shari (John) Mitchell, Rapid City; Kim McLoud, Colorado; 2 sons, Kent McLoud, Albuquerque, NM; Steven McLoud, Colorado; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 1 son, Terry McLoud, April 18, 2005; 2 sisters, Evelyn Fisher; Gladys Fisher; 2 brothers, Rollie McLoud; Hap McLoud and his parents. | |
