Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 17, 2006 at Behrens-Wilson Funeral Home followed by interment at Mountain View Cemetery, Rapid City. Visitation will be held Sunday, April 16, 2006 from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Joseph Cristini, 57, Rapid City, died Thursday, April 13, 2006 at Rapid City Regional Hospital.

He was born January 21, 1949 in Italy to Antonio and Islanda Cristini. When he was 5 years old, he and his mother took a ship to Canada to join his father. He grew up in Trail, BC, Canada where he graduated from high school.

Following graduation, he moved to Spokane, WA to attend college and later moved to Rapid City. He graduated from the National College of Business.

Joseph married Christena Garr on July 30, 1983 in Rapid City. He has worked for H & R Block as well as independently as a tax preparer.

In 1989, he and Christena adopted their son, Kristin who became Joseph’s pride and joy.

He enjoyed children and watched out for them any way possible.

He is survived by his wife, Christena Cristini, , a son Kristin ‘K.C.’ Cristini both of Rapid City; his mother, Islanda Cristini, Trail, BC, Canada and numerous other family and close friends.
