Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 21, 2022 at the Evening Light Tabernacle with visitation one hour prior to the service. Pastor Peter Derksen will officiate.
Interment will follow at the Elk Vale Cemetery.
Dinner reception to follow the interment at the Minneluzahan Sr Citizen Center, 315 N 4th St.

Douglas Allen Lutz, 72 went to be with the Lord on January 14, 2022. He was born in Rapid City, SD to Gottlieb and Martha (Gaupseth) Lutz on January 3, 1950. He graduated from Hettinger High School in 1969.

Douglas married Rose (Norby )Lutz on June 12, 1970. They were married for 49 years until her death in 2019.

He is survived by his daughter Tricia (Terry) Marks; son Chad(Missy)Lutz; grandsons Tyler(Mandy)Marks, Tanner Marks, Arlis Lutz; granddaughter Rowan Lutz; great-grandsons Hayden Marks and Atticus Marks; great-granddaughter Layla Marks; his brothers Darrell Lutz, Rodney(LeeAnn) Lutz, Roger(Cathy) Lutz; sister Sheila(Ray) Kinghorn and many nieces, nephews and friends.
