Mark Douglas Townsend, 62 of Rapid City, SD died on November 14, 2021. He was born on April 20, 1959 in Pomona, California to Jerry and Glenda (Clark) Townsend.

He is survived by his wife Helen; Step sons Joshua and Justin Morgan; Step mother Patsy L. Townsend; brother Scott Townsend; Sister Lynn Denise Townsend and nephew Mark Thomton.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 29, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, SD
