Doina Armida Doneaud

Doina “Nini” Doneaud, 92, Rapid City, died Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Bella Vista Care Center.  She was born on May 25, 1926 in Cluj, Transylvania, Romania.  She was the daughter of Felicetta (Turrini) and Virgil Stan.     Nini was married to Andre’ Alexandru Doneaud.

She was a lawyer in Romania and translated scientific books and papers into English.  In the United States, she worked part-time for the Rapid City Journal as a proof-reader.  Nini’s passion was making dolls which she did for 25 years

Nini is survived by a brother, Radu Stan, Paris, France; two nephews, Andre’, Germany and Matthew, Paris, France.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Mihai and her husband Andre’, December 29, 1987.
