Dave Wessel

It is with heavy hearts, family and friends announce the passing of David (Dave) Wessel. He was born and raised in Rapid City. Dave loved the “Hills”, especially hunting. He had a big heart and loved hard. David was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Marcella Wessel, 2 sisters, Patsy Ann (Wessel) Hager and Jean Marie Wessel. He is survived by his brother Richard Wessel, Jr., 2 nieces Melinda (Hager) Vance (Darren) and Kristy (Hager) McCollom (Dustin), and one nephew, Richard Wessel III. As well as 2 great nephews, 3 great nieces and one great, great niece. He is also survived by his longtime friend/brother Vernon (Jay) Hager and numerous extended family members and friends. We were all lucky to have shared this life with him. He will be missed deeply. A celebration of life will take place Saturday March 3rd, 2:00 PM at the Time Out Lounge.
