Mabel R. Wright, 77, Rapid City, died Sunday April 24, 2011 at Rapid City Regional Hospice House. She was born to Fred and Maude (Blakesley) Huntley on June 24, 1933 in Trout Lake, MI. Mabel married Billie R. Wright near Traverse City, MI on May 9, 1953. She was active in the Rapid City Club for Boys since 1973. She enjoyed baking, cooking, spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Mabel is survived by her 3 daughters, Linda Oliver, Mt Home, AR; Ruth Huber and Dorcas Hern, both of Rapid City; 5 sons, James Wright, Odessa, TX; William Wright, Rapid City; Willard Wright, Tucson, AZ; Melvin Wright and Kenneth Wright, both of Rapid City; 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Billie R. Wright, May 6, 2007; 2 sisters and 1 brother. | |
