Tyler Soulek

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” – 2 Timothy 4:7 Tyler Joseph Soulek was born on May 5, 1988 to Rick and Lynn (Uecker) Soulek. Tyler passed away August 12, 2016 after a battle with cancer. He was a graduate of St. Thomas More High School (2006) and South Dakota State (2011) where he obtained his Civil Engineering Degree. Tyler used this degree to become a soils engineer who worked in North Dakota, South Dakota and Oregon. Tyler was an independent adventurer who loved the outdoors, soccer and running. Tyler is survived by Rick & Lynn Soulek (Parents); Abbey, Lauryn, & Madelyn Soulek (Sisters); Beryle Uecker (Grandmother); Rich & Jeanne Soulek (Grandparents); Aunts & Uncles: Dan & Jonna Soulek, Dennis ‘Joe’ & Norma Soulek, Pat & Ken Cerny, Vicky & Troy Wilson, Dawn & Greg Randall; and many great aunts & uncles and cousins. Tyler was preceded in death by Richard Uecker (Grandfather) and Sandy Soulek (Aunt).
