Chase Donald Ray

Chase Donald Ray, 21, Rapid City, died Monday, Dec. 14, 2015 at home. He was born March 3, 1994 in Rapid City, to Ruth Vickerman and Denis Ray. Chase brought great joy to his family and taught compassion, selflessness and true love to everyone who knew him. He was an inspiration to his loved ones; his dad built a motocross track ‘Elk Vale Motocross’ and his sisters became nurses because of him. Chase is remembered as a blessing and an Angel who graced our lives for nearly 22 years. Chase is survived by his parents Ruth and Denis, two sisters, Kayla Vickerman and Melissa Marshall; his brother Adam Ray; nephews Mason and Kolin Ray and niece Madeline Marshall all of Rapid City and numerous aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Donald and Harriet Vickerman; Leo and Darlene Ray and his cousin Timothy Vickerman.
