Joy Irene Stemper.77, Box Elder, died Friday, March 18, 2016 at Rapid City Regional Hospital.She was born February 12, 1939 at St. Lawrence, SD to Joe L. and Erma M. (Trenhaile) Mayden. She moved to Redfield at a young age and graduated from high school there in 1958.Joy married Vitalis D. Stemper at Zell, SD on August 21, 1960. They moved to Box Elder in 1960 where they have lived since. She and Vitalis owned and operated T. J. & L. Service for many years.She is survived by her husband, Vitalis, daughter, Lisa A. ‘Stinky’ Stemper (John Maki) all of Box Elder; a brother, Milton Mayden, Pocatello, ID, a sister, Joan Reed, Sidney, NE.She was preceded in death by 2 brothers. | |
