Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, August 30th at 11:00am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Rapid City, with burial to follow at St. Paul’s Catholic Cemetery in Belle Fourche, SD. Visitation will be from 5-6pm on Sunday, August 29th at Behrens-Wilson Funeral Home.

I am Thane, one of Inge Popelka's sons, and can attest to the wonderful relationship he had with my mother Inge. I am deeply sorry to hear of Gail's passing, and my condolences are extended to your entire family. He was a good man. I remember telling Gail one time: "Gail, I think you are the nicest (most polite) man I have ever met." I never heard him swear and never saw him angry. “Good night, sweet prince, and flights of angels sing thee to thy rest." Horatio, in Shakespeare's play "Hamlet."
