I lived two doors down from the Sheely's, with my sisters, Jeannine, Angela and Waynette. I remember that most families in our neighborhood had at least one child, making for a ton of children scurrying around the blocks after school and on the weekends. Tim, with his younger brother, Bobby, myself, my best friend, Mike Adkisson, Scott Max and the two Harwell kids were, for the most part, inseparable. I spent nights with Tim and Bobby and they'd do the same at my house. We walked to school together, usually stopping in the bakery to grab a doughnut. I remember that doughnuts were a nickle or less and if I could afford it, a dime for a long-john! I was very saddened to learn that during the first year from moving out of Greeley Bobby had perished in a car accident. All my thoughts and blessings to the Sheely family. Tim and Bobby helped immeasurably to make my teen years as memorable as possible. We had a lot of fun together. And I shall never forget them.
