Susy (Wust) Lawrence, 78, Rapid City, passed away early Saturday morning, February 14, 2015, of complications from diabetes. She was born on the 15th of February, 1938 in Zurich, Switzerland. She graduated from high school and worked as a buyer for a major department store. In 1958 she met a US Air Force Officer on a blind date. They were later married on the 19th of July 1958. They traveled the world for the next 21 years having two daughters, Valerie and Shannen. Following retirement in 1974, they lived in Lake Benton, MN; Yaka, MT and finally settled in Rapid City, where Susy was active in the Minneluzahan Senior Citizens Center. Susy is survived by her husband Richard, her two daughters, Valerie Lawrence and Shannen (Curtis) Sheafer; six grandchildren, Jennifer, Tara, Joshua, Quaid, Noah and Taite and two great grandchildren, Ryley and Emmalee.
