Larry and April, Deborah and I and family would like to offer our deepest condolences on the passing of Gail. It hardly seems possible that fifty-five years have passed since the family camping trip with Mom and Dad to attend your wedding in Toronto. That was our first meeting of Gail, and included a subsequent bonus stop in Montreal for Expo '67. I still have vivid memories of standing on the balcony at her mother's apartment, discussing with Gary whether we could reach a pool at the base of the building, should we dare try the leap. I remember Gail's welcoming spirit and her patient accommodation of a much younger and sometimes bothersome brother-in-law numerous times throughout the years: 1969 in Virginia Beach; 1971 in Vallejo; 1994, 1996, 1999, 2010, 2013 in Portsmouth, and 2003, 2005, 2014, 2016, 2018 in Custer. Whenever I was around there was always a place to come and visit, often with family members as travel companions. Probably the most memorable quality I have of Gail was her willingness to stand toe-to-toe with anyone, including our dad, and debate the issues of the day. She also had literary recommendations for anyone interested in reading. I pray for God's blessing on you in this time of sorrow. Gail will be missed by all of us. Your brother Joe Greenville, Texas
