I had the pleasure of working with Rick years ago.. he was a kind and funny man. Always a smile on his face and willing to help anyone he could. I had called him to to replace our furnance and on my way home, my water pump went out in my car. He waited in my driveway until I could get the car home, followed me to the repair shop, took me back home and then began fixing my furnance. That's just the kind of guy he was. Truly one of kind! Prayers to his family during a difficult time.

We are so sorry about the loss of Rick. We usher at hockey games (yellow jackets), and he sat in our section. He always had a smile on his face and wore a different hockey jersey to the games, so we knew for sure he loved the game. We always enjoyed seeing him come up the stairs on game night. Thoughts are with Barb and the family at this most difficult time.

We had known Rick for only a short time. He was recommended to us when we getting our home on Old Folsom Road set up. It didn't take long to realize what a good and kind person he was. Always willing to help us out and always cheerful. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family,

Rick was a very nice hard working man that I remembered installing our central air unit in our house back when he went into business on his own. He gave me the best deal ever and I truly appreciated it a ton. I watched him race for many years and enjoyed how competitive he was. He was truly a jack of all trades and was one guy that would always help out. I seen him at Rush games and the bowling alley many times and we always would stop and talk. Rick will truly be missed by many of his friends and family! Thoughts and Prayers to all the family!

Our fondest memories and best times were spent with Barb and Rick at their home. I remember the bonfires and Rick falling asleep on the porch swing and waking up and saying I’m ok. I remember laughing so hard! It got to be a regular joke. He was kind and witty and quick with a joke. My heart is heavy and hurts for his family at the sudden passing of Rick, he lived life to the fullest, and always had fun. Barb, we are here for you and whatever you need. Don’t be afraid to lean on your friends. He is probably having a party up in heaven. Rick, your gone but not forgotten, I’ll miss you and your larger then life personality. Godspeed my friend
