Richard Lee Rieb, Rapid City, was born April 7, 1938 in Denver, CO, and passed away Friday July 24, 2015 with his family at his bedside. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Mary, whom passed away June 1, 2015. Richard and Mary were married on June 17, 1959 in Belle Fourche. Richard grew up ranching. As an adult he enlisted in the US Army for 9 years. After his military career he spent his life exploring many types of jobs. He worked for many years in retail ranching supplies, auto sales, custodial positions and for a time worked for St. Therese Church. He was an accomplished professional guitar player. Richard is survived by his daughters, Denise Twiggs and Ronda Rippee, son Richard Rieb, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, sister-in-law Dorothea Lewis and his brother Ronald Rieb, and nieces and nephews.
