Raymond Keith Newman, 80, Rapid City, died Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at Fort Meade VA Medical Center Hospice.He was born February 24, 1934 in Lead to Frank Edgar and Elna Claire (Harvey) Newman and graduated from Chamberlain High School. He served in the US Army Reserves and active duty for many years and was honorably discharged June 1958.Raymond in survived by his wife, Jane Margaret (Garrigan) Mitchell Newman, son, Raymond ‘Ramie’ Newman, Jr. both of Rapid City, daughter, Pamela ‘Pammy’ Newman-Scott, Elko, NV, step daughters, Wendy Wells-Miller, Crooks, Laurie Ann Kenobbie, Rapid City; 8 grandchildren; brother, Leonard ‘Peanuts’ Newman, 2 sisters, Elna Jean Truman, and Norma Lee Newman all of Rapid City.He was preceded in death by his parents, and 3 brothers, George ‘Rushy’, Howard and Clair ‘Chuck’.
