I visited Phyllis for a brief time while helping her with her apartment and personal cares.. Phyllis passes through my mind often and I wish I could have been there for the funeral. She was a remarkable woman who made an impact. A great listener and storyteller. The memory of her will stay with me.

I am so sorry I missed this! I did not find out until today about Phyllis's passing. I last visited her about a month before she died and I am grateful for that last visit. I wish I would have been there to offer my condolences in person. She was a wonderful woman and a good friend.

I was so blessed to have met this amazing lady. Her service to our Lord and our country are such an inspiration to me. She had that "never give up, never give in" attitude. I am thankful for my time with her and know she is resting in peace. Well done, good and faithful servant.

Phyllis was a mentor to me. I first met Phyllis at St. John's when I was a brand new nurse. She ran a tight ship and her patients got excellent care. She then was instrumental in starting the first chemo class in Rapid City for our cancer patients. I made my nursing career with cancer patients and have Phyllis to thank for a great start. See you in heaven Phyllis!

Phyllis was an inspiration to me as a new nurse at Regional Hospital. She was dedicated, caring and simply a good person. She was also an advocate for her patients and other nurses. What a wonderful life of service and caring!

I feel blessed to have had Phyllis as a mentor when I was in nursing school and to work with her when she was working in medical records in the ER! I learned much from her not just about nursing, but life. She will be greatly missed, but make a beautiful angel!
