Ruth and family, I was saddened to learn of your loss. Butch was always very kind to me. He'll be sorely missed. With my deepest sympathy, Lori Van Pelt

Words cannot express how deeply we grieve the loss of a GREAT man of God! We rejoice knowing that Butch is at home with his Lord and no longer confused and suffering. Butch was such a great part of keeping Camp Rock running and maintained. Our hearts are heavy for Ruth, Rick and the rest of the family.

Butch and Ruth meant the world to so many. They were so very kind and loving. There was never a time that they weren't willing to jump in and help with whatever needed done. They held a very special place in my heart. I got to know them best when they started coming to my church The Kirk Chapel in 1992. They were such prayer warriors and were such an amazing example to me of how to really live the Christian life. I loved them so much. I was so glad that God shared them with us for the short time that He did. Butch will be sourly missed.

Hugh and Ruth were always like a second set of parents to me. Butch was one of the kindest people I have ever known. He will be missed by so many because he touched so many with his big heart my thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
