I send my condolences to the Gillen family . Mike and I were friends for over 50 years . He was in the Navy with my dad when I first met him at the age of 19 . Our birthdays were 10 days apart , we celebrated our 21st together and many more. You were a brother to me my wonderful friend , I will miss you dearly❤️ Rest In Peace , Till We Meet Again 🙏

Mike was a very wonderful and giving man. He loved his career as an LCDR in the Navy and serving in the USS Missouri. When we were dating we went deer/antelope hunting together and the joke was I took them down faster than anyone and I had to show him how to gut an antelope and he would drag them back. Lots of fun stories for sure. We stayed friends over the years and my kids still remember him fondly. May you find peace finally in heaven with all your family and friends. RIP my friend
