Mike was my first cousin. His mother Oma Clarke and my mother Ann Sylvester Hackett were sisters and Ann lived in Rapid City until 2005. As a child Mike was one of my playmates and had a large model train track in his basement. We had lots of fun running those trains. Mike and his father,my Uncle Harry were avid hunters and fisher men. I spent time with both and with my father out in the Black Hills doing the same. I was so sorry to hear of Mike's passing just recently and really do appreciate the find job Behren's funeral home did with his funeral.

I was so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. Mike was my buddy and his Mom and my Mom were sisters. We spend many family holidays together. Mike's Dad made the best tom and jerry's and every Christmas eve we would go to their house for them. He made special ones for the kids. Mike use to ride with me in the car when I first learned to drive and was my navigator. When we got older we would hang out together. I moved to California and Mike was out here and we could come to my Mom's with his family. Mike was funny, helpful and great company.
