Service Date October 18, 2010
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Monday October 18, 2010 at St. Therese the Little Flower Catholic Church with Father Bill Zandri celebrating. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m., Sunday Oct. 17th with a rosary service at 7 p.m., at Behrens-Wilson Funeral Home.

Marilyn Faye Enterman joined the Choir of Angels on Tues. Oct. 12, 2010 after a courageous battle with leukemia. She was 79. “Faye” Olson was born Dec 30, 1930 on the family farm in Day County, SD to the late Andrew and Elvira Olson. The family moved to Pierpont, SD when Faye was 3 and this is where she learned to play piano, a gift she would share throughout her life. The family later moved to Langford, SD and then to Custer, SD where Faye graduated from Custer High School. Faye attended Black Hills State College where she met her future husband Jack Enterman. Jack and Faye were married Oct 30, 1948 and eventually settled in Rapid City, SD where they raised 7 loving children. Using her gift of music, Faye devoted many years of her life to the Catholic Church as an organist and choir director at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cathedral, and later at St Therese Church of the Little Flower as a pianist up until her illness. Faye also volunteered many years at Perpetual Help School as a music teacher and also devoted much of her life helping husband Jack manage his dental practice. She is survived by her children Vicki (Gene) Wiegand, Baraboo WI, Cindy (Ken) Heischmidt, Cape Girardeau, MO, Mike (Jean) Vermillion, Mary, St Louis, MO, John (Kathy) Red Lodge, UK and Christopher (Shannon) Santa Fe, NM; 19 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and brother, James Olson, Rapid City, SD. Faye is preceded in death by husband Jack, daughter Susan, grandson Andrew and brother, Douglas Olson.
