Lydia Louise (Dockter) Kohler, 101, Rapid City, died Thursday, June 21, 2018. She was born April 5, 1917 in Martin, North Dakota to John and Carolina (Plienes) Dockter.  She was the 7^th of 15 siblings.  She grew up and attended rural schools.

In 1938 Lydia moved to Bismarck, ND where she met and married Andrew Kohler.  To this union they had three children, Richard Kohler, Linda Rada and Carolyn Dawkins.  Their 61 years of marriage ended with Andrew’s death in 2002.

Those who preceded her in death were her parents, eleven brothers and sisters and numerous aunts and uncles.  Survivors include her children, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, one son-in-law Gene Rada and one sister.
