I am deeply saddened to learn about the passing of Les as he and I were very good friends during the early years in Cincinnati, both of us being employed at Procter & Gamble. Les was a brilliant scientist and engineer in addition to a computer wizard…he was well ahead of his time. Les was also quite fun-loving and a real jokester who cherished being a non-conformist. Indeed, Les loved learning and helping people of all sorts, often in teaching mode. While I haven’t seen or spoken to Les since the mid 1970’s, memories of all the fun times playing cards late into the night with Linda and my wife Adrienne are surprisingly still alive. That should tell you what a wonderful person he was....G-d's speed Les Bauer! To the Bauer family, please accept my deepest condolences. Bilige, thank you so much for reaching out to me on Facebook!

Sorry to hear this, cousin Les ( you will always be Tom to me.) Remember all the good times in South Dakota when we were young. Sure wish we could have gotten together in these later years.
