Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday May 13, 2009 at Behrens-Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Baum officiating. Interment will be 2:00 p.m., at Black Hills National Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday May 12th at the funeral home.

Laberta Mae Schmidt, 57, Rapid City died Saturday, May 9, 2009 at Rapid City Regional Hospital.She is survived by her husband, Ted of Rapid City; her son Rick of Box Elder; 2 grandchildren; 3 brothers, Jerry Edwards, Rapid City; Richard Edwards, Clybucca, Australia; Robert Edwards, Rapid City and 3 sisters, Emma Stewart, Rapid City; Vickie Weese, Gregory and Florence Simmons, Rosemont, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents.
