I had the privilege of knowing Joyce for about 6 months. But in those months she became like family. I so enjoyed her stories that she would share whenever I got to see her. Her smile was contagious. You where a very dear sweet, strong amazing women Joyce and my life is better from having known you. Rest in Peace Joyce. I will never forget you. Lisa Cordell

Knowing Joyce for almost 30 years, I smiled reading the obituary. Truly kind, bridge-building, and compassionate rang loudly. But so did adventuresome. We served on the Aglow Area Team for many years and took a trip to Israel together. We made many trips to Pine Ridge, working with the Ludepisc ministry helping with programs for children and teens. She was quick to laugh and so braod in her life experiences, as an author, artist, playwrite and friend. I am so grateful she finished strong and was able to share her heart at the 2nd Commandment seminar. She loved to dance in worship and I can only imagine how she is liberated to dance now! Until we meet again, dear friend!
