Wake services to celebrate his life will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2017, at the Mother Butler Center beginning at 5:00 p.m. Catholic services with Father Ed Witt officiating and traditional Lakota services by Ernest and Calvin Red Elk, will be held Friday, September 8, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Rapid City, SD.

It is very sad to see a young life end with so much promise for the future. I am proud of all the good things that Jeff did and that he was a Boys Club member. He set a great example for other members to follow. Our prayers go out to his family.

This makes my heart sad. I attended North Jr. High with Jeff and Chanda. I never forgot Jeff's goofy smile or silly things he used to do. He will be missed.
