Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday Feb. 23, 2007 at the Lord of Life Lutheran Church, Rapid City, SD. Interment will be at a later date in Michigan. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday Feb. 22, 2007 at Behrens-Wilson Funeral Home.

James H. Burnette, 73, Rapid City, SD died Tuesday Feb. 20, 2007 at his residence. James is survived by his children, Byrona Burnette, Box Elder,SD; Brenda Johnson, Rapid City,SD; Sharon Zumbragel, Cherry Valley, IL; James “Hank” Burnette Jr, Sioux City, IA; David Burnette, Rapid City, SD; Kathryn Berger, Pierre, SD; Calvin Burnette, Tacoma, WA; 21 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Lois R. Burnette, Feb. 18, 1987.
