Dear Carol and Family, I am so very sorry to learn of Jim's passing. He and I became friends when he was at BHSU and one of my favorite graduates! Ben and I enjoyed his great meals at the Spearfish Canyon Lodge and had him cater a pig roast at our cabin. He was a great person and made big impact on the Spearfish community. Always when I drive up the Canyon, I think of the Klancnicks and am always amazed at your accomplishments. May he rest in peace with Mary, and may God bless you all and comfort you in your grief. Very sincerely, Margaret Sager

Dear Carol and girls, We consider ourselves very blessed to have known Jim and you Carol and your awesome family. Always enjoying Jim's company, sense of humor, knowledge and esp. his great cooking skills. We first had the privilege of meeting Jim when he was an insurance agent for Farmers Ins., his vast knowledge of the insurance products he was selling was absolutely amazing. When he got ready to leave late that cold winter night his vehicle would not start and we did not hesitate to give him the keys to our old International Scout that was warmer outside than inside. Jim has truly fought the good race and his reward will be great in heaven. You are all in our thoughts and prayers during this sad and difficult time. May all your memories of happy time help you navigate this change in your lives as you lean on each other and rejoice in the Lord always as Jim is in the company of saints and one day will welcome us all home. God bless you all, Jim & Darlene
