I was in Dr Patterson’s science physics class in the late 70’s. He was a FABULOUS teacher! I later taught math at SDSM&T and tried to emulate him. So sorry for your loss. Donna Johnson

Marluce, my condolences to you and family. I enjoyed the visits and good times visiting with you and Him at cardiac rehab. Jim contributed to many in his teaching career and made this a better place by doing so. I will miss our many visits about baseball as well as other topics. Take care and God bless. Dave

I will miss you so much! I only knew you from brining in your dogs to the clinic but I felt very blessed to know you. James is a wonderful person and will be greatly missed.
