On Thursday, April 11, 2024, Harold Norman Lund, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and veteran, stepped into the presence of his Lord at the age of 85.

Harry, as he liked to be called, was born Mar 13, 1939 in Lewisville, IN to Dahrl and Mary Lund.  One of 10 siblings, dad was number 8.  Harry joined the U.S. Air Force in 1962, and began his 20 years of service to our country.  Harry specialized in strategic missile maintenance and repair, and was part of the Ellsworth A.F.B. 28 MMS Command.  On Jan 15, 1965 he married the love of his life, Bonny Wiederich, in Rapid City, SD, and they enjoyed 59 years of marriage. Together they raised 4 girls, Kim, Tammy, Monica, and Judy.  When Harry was 36 years old, he made the important life decision to give his heart to his Savior, Jesus Christ.  In 1980, Harry and his family joined in the signing of the Charter, the beginning of Liberty Baptist Tabernacle, with his dear friend and Pastor, the late H. Wayne Williams.

Harry was an exemplary example of a Godly husband and father.  Those who knew Harry knew him to be a steadfast servant of Christ, a selfless helper, wood-working and mechanical hobbyist, sudoku master, singer, fixer of all, master of none, and the teller of the best dad jokes.

Harry was preceded in death by his father Dahrl, mother Mary, and his 9 siblings; Dwight (Lee & Herta), Jack (Bob & Thelma), James (Jim & Joan), Joan (& Lee), Geraldine (June & Frank), William (Bill & Sally), Mary (& Irvin), Hubert (Curt & Carol), and Betty (& Roland).  He is survived by his wife, Bonny, and his 4 daughters, Kimberly (David Young), Tammy (Carey Sogge), Monica (Dwight Iverson), and Judith Lund. His surviving grandchildren are: Timothy, Stephen, Amanda (Beth), Scott, Justin, and Heather (Kim & David Young); Sheridan and Ted (Tammy & Carey Sogge); Erica, Amanda, Lindsay, Derek & Lucas Iverson, and Kelsi Herrera (Monica & Dwight Iverson), Cody, Hannah, and Wyatt Martin (Judy Lund); and other grandchildren & great-grandchildren, including extended, by love.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to benefit Liberty Baptist Tabernacle Building Fund.
