I will miss Gabe he was very kindhearted and do enjoy his visits! Prayers to Colleen and the rest of the family!

I only knew Gabe though my friend and sister of my heart Colleen. As I “traveled” with them; the many miles on their ministry and joined them in their teachings to their following; I got to know Gabe. What a kind; loving; spiritual “Man of God.” Those were the words Colleen used the day she called me and said, “ I have met the most wonderful man and he is a Man if God.” The Gabe I got to know was a beautiful human being. This earth lost such a wonderful caring, humorous person. Heaven gain an Angel. Did he know he was going to meet his savior, his God that night? My thoughts, love and prayers are now with Colleen and her family and Gabe’s family.

What an awesome obituary for a minister who had gotten my attention at the Boyd family camp meeting in 2018. I was curious about how our savior delivered him from being a medicine man to a minister of God. He was a kind gental loving man of God. My family enjoyed and was touched in our hearts for this mighty man of God. It is truly an honor to meet him personally and his beautiful wife Colleen. Although it is sad that we will not see him again it will be exciting to see him in heaven along with my husband and family. May Gabe rest in perfect peace till we all meet again with Jesus.

i was first introduced to Gabe in 1995 in castle rock, CO. he was part of the workings of international reconciliation coalition of indigenous people. headed by jean steffeson. i later met Gabe at the tribal office via Dena Provencial who introduced gabe z and myself to Gabe. Gabe at that time was pastor, and the risen warriors were there too. Gabe worked with many churches in denver and abroad the states. he was humorous and kind man. i am really going to miss visiting Gabe when i cruise through the rosebud, its kind of a second home for me at times. those first few years were condensed in opportunity to see God do some remarkable things with Gabe in those days. i regret not being there after 2000 as much, my wife and i were just there monday before he went to the keystone event, i am glad he took some time out to visit with me before he went to keystone. we were supposed to meet up with him there, we couldn't get in, they were packed. i will miss you Gabe, rest in peace my friend and i hope that your legacy shall continue for the change that is needed in indian country. aho! i shall see you on the other side.
