I just found out that Ed had passed...Ed and I were in the Air Force together both Basic Training and Technical School at Kessler AFB, MI Ed was alot of fun we shared alot of laughs together during those Air Force years...we were stationed together after Technical School at Ellsworth AFB, SD where we continued our friendship. We then were both stationed at Kadena AB, Okinawa, Japan...Ed left the Air Force and returned to Rapid City. When I was stationed at Lowry AFB, CO in 82-85 I flew up to Rapid City and spent a weekend with Ed and all his friends. After that visit I lost contact with Ed until a few years after when I ran into him in Denver. I will always remember his sense of humor. I am saddened to goggle his name and find out he had passed....such a shock.

Randy and family, I'm so sorry to learn of Ed's illness and passing. I have been hoping to reconnect with you on one of my occasional return visits to South Dakota. I have such joyful misty memories of the times we shared! Rest well, my friend departed, and my friend bereaved.

Ed will be missed by all who knew him, I am sure. Condolences to family and loved ones. Sorry it was not to be that Randy and Ed would get old together, but as friends we are thankful for the time shared along the way in generous and loving spirit..

Only crossed paths a few times with Ed, then we had all those sessions together at the YMCA Pottery class. In this life, you are often sorry you didnt get to know someone better than you did. Ed was such a person. Randy, I imagine you have more friends than you can count, but if you need one more, let me know. Ed is not gone, he is just not here with us. Johnny

For so many years, it's always has been Randy and Ed, there was no separating the two mind, heart and life. I will continue to keep the both of you in my thoughts, knowing that you will one day be reunited in love once more.

Randy, It was such a pleasure to meet you and Ed and to be able to spend a bit of time with him. It seems that he was a man of many talents. God bless you and the rest of Ed's family. Nancy (Hospice)

I had worked with Ed many years ago at Regis. Even though I had not seen him in a long time, I had kept up with him occasionally from our mutual friends. Ed was one of the kindest men you could ever meet, and I know the Heavens have gained at our loss. May the passing of time be healing, and that God will comfort you.

Knew Ed only a little, sorry to the family for their loss. To Randy, friend, sorry especially for your loss.

Cousin ED was one of the nicest people you'd ever meet. He put others before himself. He will certainly be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with Randy and the family.
