Donald James Fitzpatrick was born on September 15, 1945 in Mankato, MN to James and Helen (Warmka) Fitzpatrick. He married the love of his life, Mary (Walton), on November 15, 1969. They celebrated 44 years of marriage. Donald farmed for many years and continued his passion by working in the agricultural industry. He enjoyed retirement by spending time with his grandchildren, spending time outdoors, and volunteering his time to others within the community. He was devoted to the Catholic Church and was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus as a Knight of the Fourth Degree. Donald was taken by the hand of Our Father on the evening of July 5th, 2014 at his home. His life will be celebrated by many and he will be forever missed. He is survived by his wife, Mary; his children, Keith and his wife Dawn (Outing, MN), Jay and his husband Brian (Oceanside, CA), and Donna and her husband Jason (Rapid City, SD); and ten grandchildren, Rustin, Natasha, Katherine, Jessica, Janae, Jordan, Michael, Thomas, Christopher, and Elizabeth.
