David Allen Gorder, 77, Rapid City, SD formerly of Minneapolis, MN died Saturday, March 4, 2016 at Rapid City Regional Hospital. David was born June 2, 1938 in Canby, MN to Ruth Pauline (Lindberg) Gorder and Clarence William Gorder. He was baptized and confirmed at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Canby, MN and graduated from Canby High School in May, 1956. David was united in marriage to Cheryl Anne Coil on December 26, 1960. To this union two sons were born, Brett David Gorder and Derek Allen Gorder, David is survived by his wife Cheryl, Sons Brett (Belen) Gorder of Farmington, MN, Derek (Denise) Gorder of Chandler, AZ. Grandchildren Christopher Gorder, Britney Gorder, and Audra Gorder. Brother, Douglas of Excelsior, MN. David was preceded in death by an infant sister and his parents Ruth and Clarence Gorder.
