Dan Herns memorial, was the nicest, most personal, service I have been to. Very impressed with what this family has done for their Father. Thank you for the memories.🌺 Ken & Pam Edel

Sometime ago five brothers went on vacation together wearing numbered T-shirts. Dan was #1, Abe was #2, Jimmy was #3, Charlie is #4, Sam is #5. Abe and Jimmy are no longer with us. Now, we have lost Dan. We are numb and three T-shirts will be worn no longer, they are safely put away. These men were hardworking, good and honest. Although we have holes in our hearts, we have many wonderful memories that comfort us and bring us peace. With prayers and love, Your sister, Viola.

I’m gonna miss talking to you Uncle Dan. We always enjoyed your company and I know you loved my moms beans and chili. I hope you’re resting in peace and free of any discomfort and pain. I will treasure the pictures I have of you and my dad as I look at them often. To aunt Grace and our cousins, you’re in our thoughts and prayers and we deeply regret not being able to be there with you all. We are with you in heart and mind and will attend online tomorrow. Rest easy Uncle ❤️‍🩹 always love you. Your niece Chal-Marie Lucero (Hern)

The last time I saw Uncle Dan was April 2021 when he was in Albuquerque. He stayed with my mother, his sister, Viola. We enjoyed his company so much. We have been blessed to have such a wonderful man in our lives. His calm demeanor and genuine thoughtfulness will be cherished memories. To his wonderful family, you are in our thoughts and prayers. May memories of Uncle Dan comfort you always.

We could not have asked for a better neighbor of 50 years. Such a wonderful family. Will certainly seem different without the Hern family across the street. Will miss you all so much. God Bless 🌺
