Marlene and Family, We are so sorry to hear the Passing of CL, you both were fabulous neighbors, and great friends. We enjoyed the cookouts that you all put on. Cl will be missed and you all are in our prayers

Marlene and family, our deepest sympathy to you. When Vince was going through the application process for the State Patrol, we were not married and CL was assigned to meet with me as part of Vince’s background check. What an intimidating “interview” for a 21 year old girl! We came full circle back to GI and enjoyed your friendship through the patrol. May your fond memories of CL bring you comfort and peace. Vince and Sharon Hernandez

I'm so sorry for the loss of a husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. I did not know him for very long but I liked his sense of humor, honor and integrity. Heaven got another good one.

Marlene and family. I was so sorry to hear of CL's passing. He was such a kind and fun person. I knew you were wonderful people the first time I met you and you became Randi's first daycare home. CL was such a big person in his State Patrol uniform, but he loved those little kids you welcomed into your home. I have thought of you often since you moved from Grand Island and hoped life was being good to you. You have our deepest sympathy. Kevin and Linda (Melsen) Green, Randi Offner and Brad Green.

Marlene and family, remembering you in prayer today that God will comfort you and leave you his peace. We rejoice at the "homecoming " of C.L. We remember him and your family fondly and the Christian example you lead. It was only recently we thought of you after the many years you have moved from Grand Island. You were always part of our Peace family. Sincerely, Kurt and Susan Koch

Our Christian compassion to you, Marlene, and the "kids" and extended family. My childhood memories of Clarence and your entire brood include my first ever taste of frozen pizza! I cannot imagine my 4 Goeller Pilger, NE] siblings and me with your kids and you four adults in the same house; it must have been chaotic. I have nothing but fun recollections of time spent with you and yours. Not grieving as those who have no hope of eternal life, may you each draw closer to your Lord & Savior and lean on Him in the tough days and months ahead. THE BEST IS YET TO COME; it won't be long. Sincerely, Marcia (third of five) & Brian Davis Fremont, NE
