What a beautiful person. She was kind, loving, and funny. Our family's spent many occasions together. She will be fondly remembered and forever missed. RIP Charlene.

We just Thank God for bringing Doug and Charlene Selberg into our lives. We met them first in Sioux Falls, SD when they and some other couples were training married couples to be leaders in their church/community for Bible Studies. At first, we didn't know what to think---this older couple befriended us, loved us, and taught us like we were their own children. For about 10 years we would work with your parents in Marriage Ministries International. They were state leaders and later region leaders---which opened the Midwest to this marvelous couple that cared so deeply about hurting people, God's Word, and that the people knew they were loved and appreciated. The way they taught together was amazing and they made the lessons come alive with visuals and illustrations. Doug more on the humorous side and Charlene trying to keep him on track with details. I know many couples were blessed and helped because of Charlene and Doug and their countless prayers for others. In our hearts, they were our second parents. I will miss your mom very much!

Our family was small. We spent many happy holidays at each other houses. 2022 has been a tough year . The memories will be forever.
