Debbie and Siblings: Your mom and mine, Clara Mann Egger, were best friends in their younger years, going back to their meeting at NCB. I know that they had an active social life together in their single years in Rapid because Mom had lots of photos of their fun times as roommates, and they always shared good memories when they got together through the years. I remember playing together when we were young kids, and I loved the bit of chaotic activity in your household since I was an only child until I was six years old! I remember your mom always looking elegant and well-dressed, amazing with so many little ones occupying her attention. Lots of good memories! Sending prayers for your entire family...how blessed you all were to have her in your lives for so many years (my mom died 33 years ago)! Loretta Egger Schroeder Rochester, MN

To all the Aigner kids.... What a legacy your mom has left! Look at the grands and great grands! When I think of your mom two words come to mind...Kind and resilient. She knew your friends name and who their parents were. She treated us kindly even if we had snuck in during the night...lol 😂 She always asked about our wellbeing and shared positives that had happened w her children since we had last been in her home. I think we believed she didn't know about our escapades but as I have gotten older and became a mom too I know she knew far more than we thought. For 96 years she used her skills to do the very best she could for her children and herself...even after Harry died. She never showed her stress..she had to have it, I mean 8 kids! She took each bumpy road as it came and stayed true to her beliefs and never waivered in the love she had for her children. Mother's teach us many things in many ways. Carmen was such a good role model and when you think about your accomplishments include her role as your mom and cheerleader. She showed you what resilience looks like and that is something some never learn about. She never gave up! Use your memories to deal w the grief you feel and to help you as you continue your walk through life. My thoughts are w you. Hugs. Rosa
